Shih Tzu "Paw", Acrylic Painting (MJ03)

Shih Tzu Paw is a playful contemporary portrait that captures the charm and personality of the breed, with the raised paw creating a warm, engaging connection with the viewer. The Shih Tzu is painted in detailed monochrome, allowing the texture of the coat and expression to remain the focus, while the vibrant sprayed background introduces bursts of colour and energy. The contrast reflects Matthew Lloyd’s wider theme that animals bring joy, character and colour into our lives.
