Sharon Winter
Artist, illustrator and teacher, Sharon Winter graduated from University College Scarborough with a First Class Honours in Fine Art in 2001.
Sharon usually paints with acrylics and likes to experiment with new techniques including printing, collage and book-making. She paints from her imagination and loves to explore ideas from her sketchbooks.
Sharon works by building up layers of paint, collage and gold leaf to create patterns, motifs and texture and her inspiration often comes from folklore, memory and family.
