Fiona Hamilton-Walker
Fiona trained at Queens Road College of Art in Bristol where she learnt a variety of different jewellery techniques. She is drawn to texture and shape and achieves this in her hand made jewellery, using hammers, drill bits, doming tools and a rolling mill.
Fiona hand makes each piece of jewellery using sterling silver jewellery, embellishing some pieces with copper or bronze. No two pieces are identical, making each piece a unique work.
Fiona uses a wide range of semi-precious uncut stones such as Carnelian, Lapis Lazuli, Garnet and Turquoise in many of her custom made pieces.
She now uses Ecosilver, which is made of 100% recycled silver and ethically-sourced gemstones.
All silver items weighing over 7.78 grams are hallmarked at Birmingham or London Assay Office.
