Tina Braddock
Tina Braddock entered the music business after leaving school and had a short but fairly successful career as the drummer and saxophonist in an all-girl band. When the band folded, she went back to college to study Art. It was here that she was introduced to Etching and immediately fell in love with it
She went on to achieve a 2:1 BA (HONS) degree at the University of Wolverhampton in 1995, in Fine Art (Printmaking with Sculpture).
After a very long break, Tina has rediscovered her need to create art and is currently working on a variety of projects whilst playing with different media techniques and subject matter; all whilst fitting around her full time job as a teacher.
Etching remains Tina’s favourite medium, as the long, messy, and sometimes hazardous process itself can lead to unpredictable outcomes, resulting in each hand-pulled print possessing its own unique character.
