Mychael Barratt
Mychael Barratt was born in Toronto, Canada where he studied Fine Art. He moved to London in 1984 where he attended Central School, St Martins, from 1989 to 1990. He was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter/Printmakers (RE) in 2002.
Mychael has been working as a printmaker since 1991 and amongst his achievements has written and had published his own book on intaglio printmaking. He is a narrative artist who illustrates incidents from everday life – his sense of humour being evidenced throughout his prints and paintings. He has produced a unique series of Artists’ Dogs and Cat etchings – which are proving to be quite popular and resulting in sell-out editions. As Mychael’s work becomes more sought after we are pleased that he continues to add new prints to this great, fun series of prints and that we also have the opportunity of exhibiting and selling some of his original paintings alongside our other artists’ work.
