Mahnoor Saparas
Mahnoor is an award-winning contemporary artist celebrated for her bold use of texture, colour, and emotion-driven compositions.
In 2025, she was honoured with the inaugural Best Visual Artwork of the Year award from We Are Creative by B Events, marking a pivotal milestone in her artistic journey. Her work has been showcased in exhibitions across Birmingham and beyond, including at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) Gallery, as part of the Surreal Solihull public art project commissioned by the council and highlighted by the BBC, and in multiple regional open calls. She also participates annually in Birmingham Open Studios and the Birmingham: Open outdoor exhibition in Victoria Square, further cementing her presence in the region’s contemporary art scene.
Drawing from a multicultural upbringing—born and raised in Qatar with Pakistani heritage before settling in the UK—Mahnoor’s work is deeply shaped by themes of identity, movement, and belonging. Inspired by serene landscapes, cinematic storytelling, and the emotional resonance of colour, she creates pieces that invite viewers into moments of nostalgia and reflection. Based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, she balances her career as an accountant with her ever-evolving passion for painting.
