Flora McLachlan

Flora McLachlan was born in Littlehampton, West Sussex in 1974 and is now based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.  She studied Art at Brighton College of Technology and completed a PDD in Illustration at West Hertfordshire College in 1999.  She is a member of Oxford Printmakers, Aberystwyth Printmakers and the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE).

Flora's preferred technique is etching. During the long etching process. Her original idea changes and grows with the working of the metal and the act of creation continues with the printing of the image. Many of her etchings are under-printed with a painterly mono-collagraph plate. Most are complex and demand a concentrated and meditative approach to the inking and printing.

A wide range of Flora's original prints are available along with a special selection of unique, mini ink and watercolour paintings.
