Ava Khera

Ava Khera is a self-taught artist from Surrey, England.

Following a successful career in fashion design, she has transitioned into a portrait and figurative artist. Working in various mediums including watercolour, acrylic and oil, she draws her love of fashion and dance into her paintings. Inspired by human connection, her work exhibits a sensitive and emotionally charged quality. Using a combination of loose brushwork and fine detail she illuminates the intricacies of authentic life and love.

“It’s about the things you don’t notice at first glance,” says Ava, “it’s the blending of a pretty surface and the deeper emotions and stories which the viewer may interpret through their own perception.”
