Designer Jewellery by Fiona Hamilton-Walker November 28 2019
Fiona Hamilton-Walker trained at Queens Road College of Art in Bristol where she learnt a variety of different jewellery techniques. She is drawn to texture and shape and achieves this in her hand made jewellery, using hammers, drill bits, doming tools and a rolling mill.
Fiona hand makes each piece of jewellery using sterling silver jewellery, embellishing some pieces with copper or bronze. No two pieces are identical, making each piece a unique work. She uses a wide range of semi-precious uncut stones such as Carnelian, Lapis Lazuli, Garnet and Turquoise in many of her custom made pieces.
