Midland Potters Association Exhibition

Purple Gallery is delighted to announce the opening of its Autumn Events Programme with a new exhibition from the Midland Potters Association.

Running from Saturday 6th September through to Saturday 4th October, the exhibition brings together a dynamic group of ceramicists whose work reflects the diversity, innovation and craftsmanship of contemporary ceramics in the Midlands. Visitors will discover a wide variety of styles – from functional ware to sculptural forms – each piece celebrating the versatility of clay as an artistic medium.

Opening Day – Meet the Artists

We warmly invite you to join us on Saturday 6th September from 12 noon for the official opening along with Wine and Refreshments.

This special occasion offers a chance to meet the exhibiting ceramicists in person, hear about their inspiration, and enjoy the first look at this exciting collection.

About the Midlands Potters Association (MPA)

The Midlands Potters Association is a non-profit organisation run by a volunteer committee. Founded in 1980 with just 35 members, it has now grown to around 175, spanning ten Midlands counties as well as Wales, Scotland, and overseas. The Association’s Honorary President is Joe Finch.

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in ceramics – from professionals to complete beginners – and comes with a host of benefits plus a welcoming, creative community.
