Nick Logan acquired his BA (Hons) in Fine Art – Drawing and Painting at the world-famous Glasgow School of Art in 2003, with a sell-out degree show. The same year, Nick received the NS MacFarlane Charitable Trust Award (RGI) and was also shortlisted for the DLA Award (Sarah Myerscough).

In 2004, Nick served on the Board of Governors for Glasgow School of Art and also began working as a full-time artist, in the west end of Glasgow.

There have been solo shows in London and Edinburgh (both in association with Sarah Mysercough), and many exhibitions, several of which have been sell-outs; at the AAF, Battersea; Glasgow Art Fair; Glasgow School of Art; Glasgow Art Club; Collyer~Bristow and the Air Gallery, both in London.

Nick was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Solihull and after several years painting in Glasgow and Newcastle, has moved back to Solihull working from his home studio, which hosts regular classes, workshops, and portraits, and live sessions.

Nick taught regular life drawing, portrait drawing, oil painting classes, and workshops in Birmingham, Stratford, and Solihull, and he prints every week.

He is currently the artist in residence at Broadway Arts Festival and the judge for their en plein air painting competition.
